A charity event featuring performances by Danza Mexica, Mankwe Ndosi, Les Gitanes and Aniccha Arts, amongst others.
Proceeds will be split jointly between PPCWC (Powderhorn Phillips Cultural Wellness Center) and SPADE (Society for Promotion of Appropriate Development Efforts) in Assam, India.
SPADE is a voluntary organization in north-east India, formed in 1994 by a group of likeminded persons to initiate and support development activities at the community level in the rural areas of Assam. Proceeds will support SPADE's Project Xarothy which aims to help promising girls who face adverse conditions. SPADE enables the continuation of these children's studies such that they can progress towards self reliance in life.
